We handled all aspects of the sale of our client’s business, which had been established over 20 years and was recognised as a strong regional based provider in the UK. The client base of the business included domestic, local government and private sector customers in a specific region of the country.
Following an initial discussion and presentation, we spoke with the owner to identify their drivers and objectives as well as understand their business in depth. This enabled us to identify the most effective way to manage the sale process and agree a realistic exit plan.
As a result of our approach we successfully agreed a shortlist of potential buyers that met our client’s criteria, and enabled us to hold detailed discussions to resolve caveats and identify an agreed due diligence process.
